Standing in line for coffee at a conference, someone mentioned Design Thinking. That night I started googling and discovered a way of working that changed everything.
I’ve seen how easy it is for teams to jump to solutions without first understanding what’s really going on - or why it matters to the people and systems affected.
Design offered something different: a way to connect business insights with people, process, and purpose - and reshape how I lead and deliver strategy, services, and transformation work.
I bring 20 years + experience in local government including senior and executive leadership roles. I’ve worked across organisation strategy and planning, transformation, service design and planning. I also hold a Master of Design Futures (Distinction) at RMIT University, where my research explored how design thinking supports problem solving and innovation in the public sector.
My work combines strategic design, leadership, and business insight - aligning strategy and service delivery to achieve meaningful outcomes and helping leaders and teams navigate complexity with design-led creativity, collaboration and strategic clarity.
In a world of AI and constant change - creativity, connection, and adaptive leadership matter more than ever, and we need to get better at tackling complex challenges. That’s where design helps - the work may be serious, but the way we get there can still be creative, engaging, and human.
Based in Victoria, Australia, I work with government and public-purpose organisations seeking design-led, intentional, and strategic approaches to their services, operations, and transformation.
